it wasn't my original intention to get these because.. *throw a glance over at my lipstick collection*
but their application and colour payoff amazed me so much, i just had to.

their packaging resemble the just bitten balm stains a lot, just that the plastic has a "matte" look and feel that sets them apart. the colour of the casing matches the colour of the product! what you see is what you will get!

similar to the balm stains, they have a minty scent and sensation to it, however, these do not stain the lips. i really like the scent, along with the slightly cooling sensation upon application on my lips.

people always say make up does wonder, and boy it sure do!!!
with a little help from circle lenses, falsies, and eyeshadow, everyone can get bigger eyes!
do note that this look will require double eye lid tape if you have narrower double eyelid folds, this is because the added double lid width will add "height" to your eyes, making them look bigger.

another gorgeous palette from kate!
i haven't been buying new palettes from them ever since the dual blend eyes, because i feel that their palettes were kind of repeating then.

this palette is different. i tried it and realized the finish is so different from what they used to offer.
but you know what sealed the deal?
THIS IS A ROSE GOLD KINDA SHADE,
and i've been looking for one for quite some time..
only to realize this is exactly what i've wanted!

this is a 5 colour eyeshadow palette, leaning towards the peachy/rose gold kind of brown.
very very flattering.
kate eyeshadows never fail to amaze me with their softness and pigmentation.

the plastic case is beautifully embossed to resembled jewels. they're still using the sleek black case, i'm glad they stuck with this because i really like its cool image :)

firstly, a girl can never have too many lipsticks even though we only have 1 pair of lips.
secondly, you'd think "just how many different shades of red, pink, corals, and plums are there?", my answer is.. almost close to the number of stars in the universe. HAHAHAH!

the l'oreal color riche lipstick impresses me with its classy packaging, shiny shiny gold casing (it does attract finger prints though, but hey, that's life!), with a plastic "jewel" that reflects the colour of the lipstick within. sorry, i know i'm getting carried away by it's appearance.. but packaging do matter!
of course, what matters the most is still what's inside.
i am in love: a super creamy formula and awesome pigmentation.

the lipstick is unscented.

this is nothing new, many people have created tutorials to teach how to achieve the korean gradient lips before, but like they say, laziness is the mother of invention. i have come up with a way to get this look with the minimal number of steps and ease!

ever since i got this palette, i sort of neglected the canmake eye nuance.
yet another brown eye shadow palette!

the palette features 4 shades to help create a gradation eyes (hence the name, gradical eyes). it includes an eye base that helps the eye shadow adhere better, it also allows the colour to show better on the eyelids. as with all other kate eye shadows, there is a simple instruction on the back of the outer packaging (which i've thrown away) to teach you how to use this palette.

i adore this palette as it is as easy as it can get. it is slightly better than the canmake eye nuance in a sense that it has more "middle shades". well, there are 4 shades as compared to just 3 shades after all! plus, the highlight colour actually does highlight well, unlike the lightest shade in the canmake palette.

i might sound a little biased as you read on in the future, because i have a liking for kate products. their packaging is one of the reason why i like the brand so much! a sleek black plastic case (i think this is part of the cool girl image they try to construct, and i declare myself to be a cool girl :P) that has grooved transparent "windows" that adds some dimension to the eye shadow. the whole thing just looks so pretty even before i open it up.. of course, after you open it up, you will realize there are no embossing on the eyeshadows. the appearance of them being dome like is due to the casing. what an illusion! albeit a pretty one.

i think it upholds all their past standards in terms of the entire production, the theme, as well as the dance sequence!
the entire video seems to be a pink barbie kinda theme to me,
with very classic pin up looks for some of them, while very typical and bold korean looks for others.
this time i take up the challenge to create two of their looks :)

so this is my first ever eye shadow palette that started it all.
i know right, what's the point of swatching something that's already so old (the letters that were printed on the cover are now gone with the wind) and discontinued!? (yea, i checked their website, they only have colours from number 20 onwards now!)

i realize how many eye shadow palettes i have, i thought it'd be fun to start swatching them and sharing it here!
so what if the products are discontinued, i still like to see the pretty colours all at one glance!

the canmake eye nuance eye shadow palette is meant for make up beginners who have not much idea about the different colour variations. canmake gives you 3 colours that complements each other well, all you have to do is to apply it from light to dark to create a soft gradation on your eyes. considering the make up noob i was 6 years ago, i really do agree that this palette is make up beginner friendly, and extremely easy to use.

the eye shadow comes in a clear plastic round case, there are no applicator or brush coming along with it.

if you are an avid fan of korean fashion, park sora will be a familiar name to you.
she models for stylenanda, a korean fashion brand that houses a lot of quirky and stylish clothings.
while i'm not too interested in the clothes it has to offer, i'm really drawn to park sora's makeup.
i know she uses mostly 3ce products, since that is the makeup line produced by stylenanda!
today, i'm taking up the challenge to create her look WITHOUT any 3ce products.
can i do it with just drugstore products?

i'm on a video roll lately,
much more active in making videos as compared to before!
finally getting my act together :D
the video is recorded in chinese, but i've added english subtitles to it!

this is a variation to the pink feline look i did a while ago.
this is the more natural and subtle version to it.
if there is a term for it, i'll called it "korean style", because it's more natural looking and gentle.

if the pink feline look is sassy kitty,
then this is definitely hello kitty, cute and adorable. :)
